Fixed orifice valves introduce a fixed pressure drop, defined by a specific curve, designed to compensate pressure differentials of the controlled circuit with respect to the design ΔP, in order to obtain the nominal flow rate. The pressure drop is generated via a variable geometry obturator which modifies the Kv value of the valve.
